A while ago I was searching for inspiration for some new books to read, when I came across the Guardian’s “1000 novels everyone must read” list. Liking a challenge, I wondered how long it would take me to work though the whole list. At two books a week, about ten years. Four books a week, five years. Well, no reason not to start so I set up this site to track my progress and provide my own reviews of each book as I read them.
There’s a few in the list I’ve already read – Fight Club, The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, Lord of the Flies, plus several more. Most were some time ago so as part of the challenge, I’ll read them again.
